emerging artists Dortmund has been an experimental platform for young talent since 2015 offering cultural professionals from all disciplines opportunities to explore different fields of cultural work.

The exhibition project combines theory and practice: Every two years, a newly formed team of students and graduates from local universities collaboratively designs the graphic identity, scenography, photographs, and educational program for a group exhibition at uzwei in the Dortmunder U. The exhibition features works by eight visual artists from Dortmund, selected by a jury of experts.
